Pomme de pin sweater

Here are a few fun items knitted or crocheted by me or my mother, Kay Southam. The sweater in the photo above I did for a baby in our extended family and it seemed to fit well. The buttons came from my mother’s sewing drawer! Thanks mom! This pattern is available on Ravelry Pomme-de-pin-sweater by Anne B Hanssen. The pattern includes cabling on the front, twisted stitch, ribbing, with moss stitch front and back as well as stockinette. It was very fun to knit! I made this in size 6-12 months. Here is the reverse side.

Another baby blue sweater I just finished used the “owls” theme and some elephant buttons I found while in Funchal. This sweater will go to a maternity hospital in Lisbon. Found this on Ravelry here: Hoot sweater by Brenna Kotar. Thank you to these designers for sharing their patterns!

The next few items were knit by Kay Southam and/or were knit together with me and turned out quite well for the first try! Buttons, once again, come from mom’s sewing drawer.
